Maids strike still ongoing

By Becky Orellana

The strike is still going on despite Purple Kayo pressures which forced at least one maid only identified by her intials SH to hide in the jungle.
Purple Kayo did not intervene herself and her staff member Silvia Zeita currently negociates with maids leader Perdita Deluca. Nothing had been disclosed yet but we know that even if both sides are ready to some concessions the main concern - maids punishment - is still discussed.
Perdita Deluca wants the Council of United Maids (CUM) still to be created takes decisions regarding punishment while candidate Purple Kayo wants to keep the power to decide in such matter.
The talks are still ongoing...we keep you informed !

Questionnable interventions of our leaders
Home secretary Randy Quander publicly showed sympathy and support for the maid cause. But she did more, we know she provided help with logistic, like with the demonstrants boards...
Randy Quander never hid she supports incumbent president Puifan Ling and we could think she uses the maids strike and her own position to weaken candidate Purple Kayo who is seen as the most credible opponent to President Ling reelection !
Army commander Kim Mizser did not support one side and asked both sides to reach an agrement. But she nevertheless clearly warned the maids that the strike should not extend to the plaza and the hotel in this touristic season...
We all know general Mizser owns the Chatte Ronronnante hotel through her holding Kim Management Inc... The hotel is located in front of Purple Kayo house and we could think she uses her position at the head of the army to defend her own economic interests !

So, what to think ? Well in this year of election...use critical mind and stay tuned !

Becky
